Turning 'I can't' into 'I Will
My name is Gabby Morritt, and for a long time, the world told me what I couldn’t do because of my visual impairment. Growing up, I navigated a landscape built for sight, often feeling like the potential inside me was invisible to others. But I knew that my vision—the kind that comes from the heart—was clearer than ever.
I founded Eye Will because I refused to let "disability" be the end of the story for children like me. I remember the first time a child in our program realized that their dreams didn't need eyesight to take flight; that moment of pure, unshakeable confidence is why we exist. We aren't just providing tools; we are shattering the glass ceilings that society places over visually impaired youth.
Today, Eye Will is a testament to the fact that when we empower a child to say "I will," the world has no choice but to listen. Seeing the significant difference we’ve made in so many lives fills me with immense pride. Our dedication is personal, and our impact is real. We are proving every day that sight is a gift, but vision is a power—and it belongs to everyone.
