At Eye Will we believe that inclusive education is a fundamental right. Our three-pillar approach includes direct special education programs for children, specialized training for educators to better support students with diverse needs, and academic scholarships for disadvantaged youth. Together, these initiatives create a sustainable pathway for students in Vietnam to overcome obstacles and achieve long-term success.
We believe that a child’s zip code or family income should never determine the limit of their potential. We recognize that for many young students in Central Vietnam, the path to graduation is often blocked by the harsh reality of financial hardship. Without support, the bright minds of tomorrow are too often forced to leave the classroom to support their families today.
Dong Ha High School serves as a vital educational hub for many rural students. However, many of these families struggle to meet the rising costs of schooling. In early 2026, Eye Will is proud to launch a dedicated scholarship initiative to bridge this gap. We are providing financial aid to 10 outstanding students, with each receiving 500,000 VND to help cover their essential educational expenses.
This program is more than just a financial gift; it is a message to these students that their community believes in them. By alleviating the burden of school fees and supplies, we empower these young leaders to focus on what truly matters: their studies and their dreams. Nguyễn Mạnh Hải, a 17-year-old student at the Quang Tri Continuing Education Center, is a young man who has faced more loss in his short life than most do in a lifetime. Having lost his father, mother, and eldest brother, and recently being displaced following the dissolution of the Dong Ha Orphanage, Hải’s journey has been defined by his incredible resilience.
A monthly scholarship of 1,000,000 VND is not just financial aid; it is the bridge to Hải’s future. Currently living in a remote mountainous area with an ill aunt, the daily burden of commuting and school expenses threatens to derail his final year of high school. This support provides the stability he needs to focus on his 12th-grade studies without the constant fear of being forced to drop out.
The true impact of this scholarship lies in what comes next. By completing high school, Hải can follow his brother into the STREETS hospitality program, gaining the professional skills and English fluency needed for a stable career.
